Oki announces availability issue

We have been informed by Oki Europe of availability issues for the B2500 MFP 2.2K cartridge. Please read the official announcement below.

The availability problems concern the following product:

09004447                       B2500 MFP – 2.2K – Standard Capacity Print Cartridge

ACI product code:        32OKIB2500SC

You are therefore advised to use the 4K version of this product instead of the 2.2K version:

9004391                         B2500 MFP – 4K – High Capacity Print Cartridge

ACI product code:        32OKIB2500HC

Dear All

Please be advised that there is a supply issue for  the following consumable item, and sales are likely to become restricted for potentially several months:

09004447        B2500 MFP – 2.2K – Standard Capacity Print Cartridge

However, the good news is that there is full availability of an alternative consumable for use in this machine:

09004391        B2500 MFP – 4K – High Capacity Print Cartridge

We appreciate the inconvenience, but on a positive note the CPC is lower on the higher capacity cartridge and therefore offers the user better running costs, albeit their investment in a new cartridge is higher.

There are some remaining stocks of the 2.2k cartridge available currently in local Distribution Centres but as we cannot confirm when these might be replenished it would be advisable, where feasible,  to switch over and offer the 4k, for the time being.
